Seaford father attacked with weapon in front of children, partner in horrifying home invasion
A Seaford father has been left with head and back injuries after he was set upon by two intruders who burst into his home and assaulted him in front of his petrified family.

A Seaford man was attacked in front of his children and partner during a horrifying home invasion.
It’s believed the Duncan Ave family were inside when two intruders burst into the property and assaulted the 39-year-old father with a weapon about 9.40pm on Monday night.
“The victim was treated for injuries sustained to his head and back during the alleged attack,” a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.
“Police units responded swiftly and located a man and a woman in a vehicle nearby (and) the pair were arrested without incident.”
A 65-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man, both from Langwarrin, remain in custody and are both expected to front Melbourne Magistrates Court this week.
“Frankston crime investigation unit detectives have charged a 65-year-old Langwarrin woman with aggravated burglary this morning. She has been bailed to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday,” the spokeswoman said.
“A 44-year-old Langwarrin man remains in police custody, assisting detectives with their enquiries. It is expected he will face Melbourne Magistrates Court today to answer charges including aggravated burglary, assault and theft.”
