Possible drowning in dam on Coolart Road, Mornington Peninsula

The body of a man in his 60s has been pulled from a Moorooduc dam.

A man has believed to have drowned in a Mornington Peninsula dam.

The man’s body was found in the dam on Coolart Rd, Moorooduc about 8am on Friday.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and police will prepare a report for the Coroner.

The man’s death comes just five days after a swimmer was swept out to sea at Rye.

Jona Kinivuwai, 20, disappeared about 7pm on Sunday while swimming with a friend off Number Sixteen Beach.
