Popular Melbourne theme park Gumbuya World offers fun school holiday activities
Victoria’s only water and wildlife theme park, Gumbuya World, is set to make a splash these school holidays, reopening its water zone as the weather warms up. Check out the jam-packed program, which focuses on your family’s littlest members.

Children are set to make a splash these school holidays with the reopening of the Oasis Springs water zone at Gumbuya World.
The theme park has a jam-packed schedule of events running throughout the school holidays to celebrate Kidz Fest.
Families can enjoy kids’ yoga, Gumbuya Gardens meditations and a walking with dingoes bushwalk.
Children are also in for a real treat on Treat Yo Self Tuesdays, with food eating competitions and doughnut and marshmallow decorating.
Super Sport Saturdays is when kids are invited to dress in their favourite footy colours and participate in football activation, handball and kicking competitions.
Gumbuya World chief executive Ron Weinzierl said the theme park was a perfect place for families to enjoy the school holidays.
“We have our water activities and with Oasis Springs just reopening and we encourage children to bring along their wetsuits and have fun,’ Mr Weinzierl said.

“Families can also spend the whole day up here and explore the wildlife trails — there’s really endless activities.”
He said the reopening of Gumbuya World had been embraced by families.
“Families know they can come down here and enjoy our four worlds of fun. It’s Victoria’s only water and wildlife theme park.”
