Two alleged hoons have been arrested after celebrating the silly season — by being silly.
A 20-year-old Cranbourne man and a 26-year-old Ascot Vale man were arrested for alleged dangerous driving and had their cars impounded after police say they were caught hooning in Pakenham overnight.
Police alleged the pair were on Southeast Boulevard shortly before 11pm, where they were allegedly found recklessly driving a Holden Commodore sedan and a white Holden Commodore station wagon.
The arrest was made by Greater Dandenong highway patrol.
In a press release, police said the pair were expected to be charged with a string of offences, including reckless conduct endangering serious injury and driving in a dangerous manner.
