Pakenham crash: Princes Freeway crash leaves seven people injured

Seven people remain in hospital after two cars and a truck collided in Pakenham.

Seven people injured in a horror smash in Pakenham all remain in hospital, including three school-aged children.

Two cars and a truck collided on the Princes Freeway near McGregor Rd at 11am Wednesday.

Police and ambulance crews attended the scene, where seven people were treated for injuries.

Three primary school aged children were taken to Royal Children’s Hospital, and are all in a stable condition.

A woman in her 30s was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital and is also in a stable condition.

A man in his 30s was taken to the Alfred Hospital and remains in a stable condition.

Two men one in his 50s and one in his 30s were taken to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition

Drivers faced massive delays following the collision near McGregor Rd, as the outbound lanes of the Princes Highway remained closed due to diesel on the road.
