Police are appealing for assistance to help identify a man dressed in a Skittles tracksuit after a window was broken at a Somerville laundrette.

A ‘candy man’ wearing a Skittles tracksuit has allegedly broken a window at a Somerville laundrette.

Police have been told a man wearing a tracksuit with a Skittles candy motif went into the laundrette on Edward St about 5.15pm May 19.

He sat on a couch inside for a short time before allegedly kicking and breaking the front window before leaving.

Investigators have released images of a distinctively dressed man who they believe may be able to help with their investigation.
