Man charged with 60 counts of theft after allegedly stealing top-end liquor from 19 stores
A man allegedly visited 19 different suburbs before allegedly stealing up to $30,000 of high-end liquor across Melbourne over six months.

A 52-year-old man allegedly stole $30,000 of high-end whiskey and scotch from bottle shops across Melbourne in 60 separate thefts.
Over six months, the man visited 19 different suburbs including Eltham, Malvern East, Parkdale, Endeavour Hills, Rowville, Brighton, Chelsea Heights, Preston, Docklands and Bundoora.
He also allegedly reportedly lifted the liquor in Cheltenham, Karingal, Camberwell, Ascot Vale, Chadstone, Richmond, Fawkner, Berwick and South Yarra.
The man was arrested in Bentleigh yesterday and was charged with 60 counts of theft.
He is expected to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
