Langwarrin man, woman in court after Seaford man allegedly bashed with golf club in front of family
A Langwarrin man who allegedly stormed a Seaford property with a 65-year-old accomplice and bashed a man in front of his children with a golf club was allegedly on bail at the time of the alleged attack, it has been revealed.

A Langwarrin man was on bail when he allegedly broke into a Seaford home and bashed a man with a golf club, it has been revealed.
Paul Wright, 44, was allegedly armed with the weapon when he Rhonda Preusker, 65, also from Langwarrin, allegedly stormed a family home on Duncan Ave about 9.40pm on Monday.
The victim’s horrified children and partner watched on as the alleged attacker battered the 39-year-old resident, leaving him with head and back injuries.
Mr Wright allegedly broke a glass door and took off with a handbag and kitchen knife before police caught up with him and Ms Preusker as they sat in a car nearby.
Mr Wright fronted Melbourne Magistrates Court via phone from Frankston police station on Wednesday morning and did not make an application for bail.
His lawyer said her client lived with his elderly mother at home and was taking serepax, a medication used to treat anxiety and insomnia.
She also said Mr Wright had injuries to his legs and feet that required medical care.
Wright faces 10 charges including recklessly cause injury, unlawful assault, trespass and commit indictable offence aggravated burglary while on bail.
Ms Preusker appeared at Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday and faces two charges including trespass with intent to assault a person.
Both were remanded to appear via video link on December 1.
