Irish eyes will be smiling when the country’s famous folk duo, Mick Foster and Tony Allen, hit town.
And according to Foster, there’s plenty more to come.
“I will be playing music until I die,” Foster told the Leader.

Foster recalled the duo first started touring Australia in the mid 1980s.
“I don’t think there’s too many places in Australia we haven’t been,” he said.
Foster and Allen have been performing their blend of easy-listening and folk music all over the world since first meeting back in 1975.
They started out on the Ireland and England live circuits before breaking through when their debut single The Rambles of Spring was a massive hit.
They have gone on to sell millions of their albums, which makes the duo one of Ireland’s biggest entertainment exports.
Foster said the duo’s blend of easy listening and folk had struck a chord with audiences.
“We were very lucky that we got a niche in the market that nobody else was bothered with,” he said.
“We have a great audience that have stuck with us for over 44 years.”
Foster laughed at the mention that the music duo had been together longer than many marriages.
“We have never had an argument in all that time,” he said.
“We have argued with other people — record companies and that kind of carry on, but never with each other.”
See Foster and Allen at Frankston Arts Centre on May 22.
