The wild ride continued in AFL SuperCoach Local in Round 5 with many new faces battling their way into the Top 10 as past leaders fell around them.

Just 40 players out of 82 SuperCoach Local competitions kept their heads and held on to their lead while 19 others were bundled out of their local Top 10 all together.

WALKS.F.C was one of those holding strong in the Mornington Peninsula Leader campaign

Supercoach player Mathew of WALKS.F.C sits at 11,388 points and is ranked 78th nationally, 227 points behind the Supercoach leader Ryder2Gray from Brisbane.

The fastest-rising local team this week was SilverCup21 which scored 2357 and jumped 30,442 spots nationally and is now ranked 44,947th.

There are 3260 AFL SuperCoach teams in the Mornington Peninsula Leader’s competition.

A total of 95 SuperCoach points separate first position and tenth position.

The median score for all teams nationally is 8056.
