A Huntingdale man has claimed sexual assault allegations against him are “all f--king lies”, a court has heard.

Christos Papathanasiou, 42, fronted the Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court on April 11 via video-link, facing two sexual assault charges.

In court documents seen by the Herald Sun, Mr Papathanasiou has been accused of sexually touching a woman without her consent on two occasions in Caulfield on April 1.

Police have alleged he also was in possession of cannabis, cannabidiol oil and a weapon on the same date.

In court on Thursday, Mr Papathanasiou refused legal aid, saying he “wanted to defend himself” and “not waste taxpayers money”.

“I know what I’m talking about,” he told Magistrate Angela Bolger.

Appearing from police custody, Mr Papathanasiou told the court he wanted to apply for bail again, after he was refused on April 2.

He said the charges were “all f--king lies”.

“I don’t give a f--k,” he repeated three times.

“I’ll be the judge of you on your day too.”

Mr Papathanasiou will return to Moorabbin court on April 14 to apply for bail.
