Hoons flee scene after crashing into Lyndhurst house

Hoons taking an early morning joy ride caused chaos in Lyndhurst after losing control of their car.

An alleged morning joy ride took a terrible turn when hoons lost control of a car, crashed into a Lyndhurst home and fled the scene on foot.

Emergency services were called to Biscay Grove at around 6.45am on Sunday after reports a car had smashed into a front porch.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said a black Holden Commodore sedan was seen driving erratically before it crashed into a power pole and a single storey home.

It is unknown how many people were inside the car at the time but all occupants fled the scene.

Police said investigations were ongoing but no arrests have been made.

No one inside the home was injured.
