An HIV-positive Dandenong man who infected a teenage girl with the virus after having unprotected sex with her and feeding her drugs has been found guilty.

An HIV-positive man infected an underage girl with his virus after he fed her drugs and had unprotected sex with her.
Noor Panjshiri, 37, was found guilty in the County Court today of several charges including negligently causing serious injury, and two counts of supplying a drug of dependence to a child.
The court heard Panjshiri picked up the 16-year-old girl in Dandenong and drove her to his home in his car, on June 27 2017.

He gave her, and another girl aged 14, methamphetamine.
Panjshiri, who was aware he was infected with HIV at the time, then had unprotected sex with the 16-year-old and didn’t tell her he had the virus.
The girl said during a recorded interview that she vomited after having sex with Panjshiri, and felt unwell the next day.
Almost a month later she was diagnosed with HIV.
A doctor said it was “highly plausible” she became infected towards the end of June.
Earlier in 2017, the girl returned a negative HIV test taken before June 27.
The court heard a doctor said Panjshiri did not regularly take his antiviral medication and had a viral load that was at a “risky level” when the incident happened.
Panjshiri, who is also known as “Chris”, denied having sex with the girl. He argued she had contracted HIV from someone else.
Panjshiri, who remained motionless as the guilty verdict was read out, was remanded and will be sentenced at a later date.
