CAT lovers looking for a new friend are invited to the sixth anniversary celebrations of Hampton Park’s 2nd Chance Cat Rescue.
The rescue group was started in 2011 by Daniela Maslen and its volunteers have since rehomed more than 1000 cats and kittens.
The day will include information about adoption, a sausage sizzle, cupcakes, kid’s activities and a raffle.
Kittens that have been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated will also be there looking for new families.
“This is a special event for our rescue group, it's a way of celebrating the hard work of our foster carers and allowing the animal-loving public to join in on the festivities,” Ms Maslen said.
“We hope the public will come along on the day to join in on the fun, especially if they are considering adopting a cat or kitten.”
The celebratory adoption day will be held next Saturday, July 29, from 11am to 2pm, at Jumbo Animal Supplies, Chapel St, Lynbrook.
