A suspect on Frankston police’s recent wanted list has been arrested — but there’s more where he came from.
Thanks to a Leader story and the help of the public Matthew Devine, 26, is now behind bars waiting to face charges.
Devine was wanted on six warrants for alleged offences which included robbery, car theft, fraud, assault and breaching bail but slipped the police net.

Police also allege Devine, from Langwarrin, was responsible for several more crimes while he evaded them.
With Devine now in custody, police have set their sights on the next bunch of suspects they want to scoop off the streets.
Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detective Sergeant Alistair Boyd said wanted suspects should hand themselves in.
“If you are wanted on warrants, police will catch up with you sooner rather than later,” he said.
“The smart thing to do is turn yourself in. That way the matter can be dealt with at a time of your preference and not after-hours, stopping that fear of being apprehended and looking over your shoulder.”
First on their new wanted list is Krystal Mackie.
Ms Mackie, 32, aka Krystal Rogers, has three warrants for alleged car theft, dangerous driving and evading and assaulting police hanging over her head.
She was last known to be living in Skye.
Sean Johnson, 34, is also near top of police’s hit list.
He has three warrants in relation to alleged theft and breaching a corrections order.
Johnson was last known to be living in Langwarrin.
Matthew Johnson, 24, last known to be living in Seaford, has nine warrants out for his arrest for charges of affray, property damage, disqualified driving, possessing weapons and failing to appear on bail.
And Corey Simmons, 30, last known to be living in Cranbourne, has four outstanding warrants for alleged car theft, disqualified driving and breaching a corrections order.
