A man has been jailed after he was busted with drugs and refused to give police the pin code to his phone.

Aaron Eckles, 28, appeared in the Frankston Magistrates’ Court on Monday where he plead guilty to a charge of possessing drugs and a charge of possessing cartridge ammunition.

He appeared in court from the dock after being arrested just days earlier.

On October 13 police raided his Seaford address where they found GHB in his bedroom and a box of ammunition in the lounge room.

They also found two mobile phones which Eckles refused to unlock.

Eckles was on bail at the time for allegedly being found with a haul of drugs on him back in March of this year.

When police searched him after someone called to report a man slumped over the steering wheel in a Frankston driveway, they allegedly found 17.5g of cannabis, 5.66g of meth, 97.7g of 1,4-Butanediol, a set of scales, and deal bags.

Later in March Eckles was again in trouble with police after he allegedly crashed a motorcycle into a parked car in Moorabbin while high on meth.

In August police allegedly found a modified gel blaster, 100g of cannabis, 6g of meth, 180ml of GHB, a high powered laser, stolen ID cards, cash, and other tablets in his home.

Magistrate Charles Tan said not cooperating with police was a serious charge and in combination with the drugs and ammunition deemed it serious enough to send Eckles to prison for a month.

He was also convicted and fined $600.

Eckles will return to court for his outstanding matters at a later date.
