A former Melbourne primary school teacher will face trial over accusations he sexually abused children.
Nicholas O’Shea, 30, pleaded not guilty at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Friday to serious sexual offending against children.
O’Shea has been charged with more than two-dozen offences, including supplying minors with a drug of dependence and multiple counts of intentionally sexually touching children, which allegedly occurred in Edithvale and Narre Warren North in 2013 and 2018.
He was arrested last year when he was a Year 6 teacher at Beaconsfield Primary School.
The court heard there were nine complainants in the matter.
One charge was withdrawn during the hearing.
The case will continue at County Court on July 29.
