Police are on the hunt for a dreadlocked man after he failed to show up for court.
Dean Gordon Swinkels was meant to be at the online Frankston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday to face serious assault charges.
But the funky-haired Frankston 30-year-old concreter didn’t appear and his lawyer can’t get hold of him.
Once police catch up with him he will be arrested and likely remanded to spend Christmas behind bars.
The court heard he was given court support program bail a couple of months ago, and despite starting well, has not engaged with services for the past month.
Swinkels faces serious charges including reckless cause injury, assault and making threats relating to his ex-partner.
The court has previously heard he is contesting the matters.
Swinkels is accused of punching his then girlfriend — and mother of their young child — allegedly leaving her with a swollen eye in January this year.
In March he is accused of driving with her clinging to his car bonnet, braking harshly to try and make her fall off.
And in April as she drove to the airport he is alleged to have texted her messages threatening to kill her.
On Wednesday Magistrate Timothy Gattuso issued three warrants for his arrest and revoked his bail.
