Cult doughnut shop Daniel’s Donuts has opened its 10th store, choosing Cranbourne North as its newest location.
Owner Daniel Bartalotta said Cranbourne was a perfect location to open a new store as there was plenty of demand for their sweet creations in the area.
“An opportunity arose for us to open our store there. We looked for the perfect location and the Cranbourne site is great as it was an area we haven’t touched yet,” Mr Bartalotta said.
He said the business now offered home delivery services.
“We will be expanding the range for our customers in the near future so they can also purchase more of our products online.”
Mr Bartalotta said some of his popular sweet treats included New Zealand style fresh cream and jam, custard and Golden Gaytime.
“We’re also famous for our New Zealand style puff pastry pies. In particular the chunky steak and cheese.”
Last year the store also added additional vegan flavours, including jam, original glazed, chocolate custard, apple custard, cream and jam, cinnamon and peanut butter and jam.

Mr Bartalotta said the COVID-19 pandemic had affected the business, but no staff had been stood down.
“Come down and give us a try. We are a family owned and operated business. We’re part of your community and thank them for their ongoing support.”
The shop is at 1085 South Gippsland Hwy, Cranbourne North.
