Bilic Homes was run by father and son team, Stan and Darryl Bilic.

In 2016 the business was convicted and fined $300,000 over a brink wall collapse that killed worker Michael Klanja, 30, on a Brighton East construction site in June 2014.

The company had pleaded guilty to one charge of failing to maintain a workplace under its management in a safe condition.

On its website, Bilic Homes said it had decades of valuable experience and that using the best quality materials and collaborating with the “hardest working and most trustworthy tradespeople” were the reasons for its success.

“I manage all the sites personally, so I know my clients receive 100% quality finish! We believe in quality, not quantity!” Stan Bilic said on the website.

Mr Grant advised any Bilic Homes creditors to contact Ms Jessica Waldron of Vince & Associates on 9793 5588 or via email to jwaldron@vinceassociates.com.au with any queries or to be listed as a creditor to receive reports from the liquidators.

Bilic Homes did not respond to requests for comment.
