Dandenong police: Motorcyclist slapped with 69 charges

A Lynbrook motorcyclist faces a staggering 69 hoon-related charges after a series of alleged offending across Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs.

A motorcyclist has been slapped with 69 charges after a staggering list of alleged offending including riding on one wheel while carrying a passenger.

The 21-year-old Lynbrook man was picked up by officers from the Dandenong high-risk driving unit on Tuesday, who allege he drove dangerously on 13 separate occasions from May 2021 to February this year across 10 suburbs.

Police allege the man was seen riding his motorcycle on its rear wheel with a passenger doing 100km/h on the Westgate Freeway in December 2021.

He has been charged on multiple counts of reckless conduct endangering serious injury, driving in a dangerous manner, loss of traction and possession of a drug of dependence.

He has been bailed to appear before the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 10 October.
