A police officer has been charged after allegedly blowing almost three times the legal limit on the Mornington Peninsula.
A Victorian Police spokesperson said a constable from the Southern Metro Region was charged on summons after allegedly drink driving in Rye on February 5, 2021.
The man in his 30s allegedly returned a reading of 0.137 while off-duty.
His licence was immediately suspended for 13 months and his car was impounded for 30 days.
He will appear before a Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
