A road-raging Coles employee has been caught on camera verbally attacking a cyclist after a driving incident at Mornington.
The woman, who wore a Coles uniform with name tag “Sharon”, was snapped swearing at bike mechanic Nick Zhang and calling him an “Asian little f**ker” at the intersection of Nepean Highway and Main St Mornington on Friday.
TheDropCycling studio owner and Sunshine West resident, who was filming his solo ride from Melbourne to Mornington on his GoPro, told The Leader he was left feeling “shaken up” after running into trouble with a silver Hyundai hatch.
The 35-year-old, who claims he was riding on a shared road, said the woman drove very close to him and he felt in danger.
In the video, the woman can be seen getting out of her car at a red light and hitting Mr Zhang’s camera before getting back in and hurling the expletive comments.
“You do not need to be riding there … I won’t touch you, (you) Asian little f**ker,” she said.
“(I’m not racist) you are … f**ckwit.”
Mr Zhang said others stopped to check on him.
“It was really shocking … the driver was really aggressive and other people stopped their cars and asked if I was OK,” he said.

Mr Zhang posted the video to social media, pleading for motorists to be “civil” and be more respectful of bike riders.
“Everyone just wants to get home after using the roads,” he said.
“Please have some respect for riders and be considerate.”
Coles confirmed an investigation was underway.
“Coles values respect and opposes discriminatory behaviour in all forms,” a spokeswoman said.
“We take this matter seriously and are investigating.”
