A former Frankston real estate agent has cleared his name after all charges relating to historic child sex offences were dropped.

Cadon Williams made a brief appearance before Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday where two charges related to offences that allegedly took place at Baxter between

March 2005 and 2006.

But on Friday the charges were struck out.

Mr Williams, who appeared via a link, smiled and nodded but made no comment when the charges were dropped.

The 44-year-old Carrum Downs man was initially charged by Frankston police in August and placed on bail.

His solicitor Hollie Lyons told the court her client was seeking costs against the prosecution.

The claim was not contested.

The amount owing was yet to be determined.
