Senior Sergeant Phil Hulley said multiple fights broke out at the party — believed to have been held for a 16-year-old — about 10.30pm on Friday night.
Two men in their 40s were injured after being attacked by gatecrashers.
Sen Sgt Hulley said a man, 46, was taken to Frankston Hospital to be treated for cuts and abrasions while another man, 44, was treated for similar injuries at the scene.
A Narre Warren man, 18, was arrested and is due to appear at Frankston Court soon to face serious charges, including affray.

Sen Sgt Hulley said social media posts that in effect advertised under age parties were a recipe for disaster.
“Police strongly advise against posting (party details) on Facebook, so uninvited people don’t show up,” he said.
Senior Sergeant Michael Lamb urged parents to rethink holding 16th birthday parties at residential properties.
“Anyone who is contemplating having a 16th birthday party at their house should think again,” he said.
“These parties are routinely problematic with gatecrashers due to social media posts.
“If you want to have a 16th party, hold it at a venue with security and CCTV.”
He also urged people to register underage parties with the police partysafe program.
