A 30-year-old staff member is believed to have been taken to hospital with serious head injuries.

He was later released and was recovering at home.

Springvale First Constable Samantha Coad said two men from Narre Warren, aged 28 and 34, were arrested on the same day at the fruit shop.

They have been charged with affray and intentionally causing injury and have been bailed to appear in Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on March 15.

The store manager was not available when the Leader phoned the shop today.
