A six-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after being hit by a car in Mt Eliza this morning.
A Somerville highway patrol spokesman said the boy was hit by a car “at low speed” in Woodland Ave, near Toorak College, about 8.45am.

Paramedics attended and treated the boy for grazes to his knee.
He was taken to Frankston Hospital in a stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are not known.
