GETTING a table at the Spanish Bar will be harder than usual this week after superstar Pink stopped by for lunch.
Owner Adriano Gonzalez said the Seaford tapas bar has been packed since news broke of the singer’s visit on Saturday.
“So many people came down on Sunday. They wanted to see where she sat and try what she ate,” he said.

PINK IN MELBOURNE: THE SECRET TO HER SHOW’S SUCCESS
“(Today) we have had a lot of calls from people wanting to book.”
A Facebook post with a photo of the chair the pop star sat in has been viewed more than 50,000 times.
And the restaurant’s social media following has increased by more than 30 per cent.
“It’s good for us of course, but good for the Seaford community too,” Mr Gonzalez said.
Since the visit he has been scrambling to find extra supplies of the ingredients used to make the dishes Pink ordered.
A special Pink dish is also in the works.
Pink and husband Carey Hart shared the vegetarian paella, mussels el diablo and sides of broccolini and patatas bravas.
“We use fresh Dromana mussels and cook them in a spicy tomato sauce,” Mr Gonzalez said.
“It’s a great dish. But not always ordered like the paella so maybe this will help others discover it?”
He said Pink’s visit came out of the blue.
“I don’t know why she picked us,” he said.
“She and her husband parked their bikes about 100m away by the beach. Maybe they saw our Salvador Dali theme and want to take a closer look?
“It was very exciting for us and for all the people in the restaurant.
“They asked us not to take any photos and we did all we could to be respectful and let them enjoy their lunch.”
So what do you talk about when an international pop star stops by for lunch? The menu? The weather? Her record—breaking Beautiful Trauma tour?
Mr Gonzalez was a bit more original.
He chatted to the mum-of-two about his son Bruno’s impressive hair.
“I had Bruno with me when I came into the restaurant. It’s a family business and we can’t always have a babysitter so the baby often comes with us,” Mr Gonzalez said.
“He has a lot of thick hair. He has had it since birth.
“She was asking me about it, do I do anything to make it so thick, that sort of thing.
“She said her son — he is 18 months old I think — has no hair at all!”
“It was nice to talk about our babies. Like any parent.”
