A once-successful plumber has been slapped with stalking, assault and drug charges just months after the collapse of his plumbing business.
Glenn Mison, 44, appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court from prison on a string of stalking, choking and assault charges.
It is alleged Mr Mison, who ran plumbing business Glenton Plumbing, stalked a woman which included placing tracking devices on her vehicle.
He is also accused of strangling a woman on multiple occasions.
The former plumber has also been charged with a string of drug-related offences, including trafficking 1,4-Butanediol and methamphetamine.
He was also allegedly illegally in possession of a knife and other narcotics when police arrested him on February 19.
Mr Mison, who appeared via video link from Fulham Correctional Centre in Sale, was remanded to appear back in court on June 20, where he will face a one-day committal hearing to test if there is enough evidence for the matter to proceed to the County Court.
A source told the Herald Sun that Glenton Plumbing went into external administration in September 2024 as a result of creditors not being paid, as well as the ATO and superannuation funds.
ASIC documents revealed that a restructuring practitioner was appointed to Glenton Plumbing Pty Ltd on September 18, 2024.
Glenton Plumbing serviced homes and businesses across Melbourne’s south and southeast, including suburbs such as Brighton, Hampton, Sandringham and Beaumaris.
