A 25-year-old Burwood man has been arrested after allegedly ramming an alleged stolen car into a police vehicle

A police car has been rammed by a man driving an allegedly stolen vehicle in Chadstone on Thursday.

A man from Melbourne’s southeast has been arrested after he allegedly rammed a stolen car into a police vehicle on Thursday night.

Police responded to reports a white Mitsubishi wagon had allegedly been stolen about 9pm in Ashwood.

The vehicle was spotted on Huntingdale Rd, Chadstone by police, who attempted to intercept it.

A 25-year-old Burwood man then allegedly rammed the police car and was arrested at the scene.

No one was injured from the in the incident
