SECOND RUNNER UP

Taleah-Rose Ottaway, Goodstart Early Learning Centre (Flemington)

Taleah-Rose from Flemington has captured the state’s hearts and has been named one of Victoria’s cutest kinder kids.

Mum Jessie said Taleah loved being involved in every activity and loves cooking.

“Every time I cook anything. She’ll be in the kitchen and making something out of nothing,” she said.

Mum said Taleah loved spending time with people and always invited everyone to cook for them.

“She’ll tell people they need to come over so she can cook them spaghetti pasta for dinner,” Mum said.

The newly turned four-year-old, who loves helping animals as much as she likes cooking, says she’ll grow up as a chef and a veterinarian.

Mum Jessie-rose said she was incredibly proud of her little girl.

“This past week, she’s done so well. She had a four-year-old test checkup done, and she scored above the expectation for her age,” she said.

FIRST RUNNER UP

Elsie Body, Aussie Kindies (Kyabram)

Three-year-old Elsie loves being a princess, says mum Shynarla West, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love her cars and dinosaurs, cars and trucks.

Mum says Elsie is a little pop star and loves dancing and singing.

“Ever since she was a baby, she was always dancing to music and singing to herself in the car. When she turned two, she started going dancing at our local dance group, and it blossomed her. She wants to be a ballerina when she grows up,” she said.

Mum Shynarla said Elsie was very caring and cuddles.

“She likes to have a cuddle. We would sit on the couch, and she would turn to me and say ‘I love you, mummy’. Like she’s, she’s very sweet like that. It just melts my heart,” Mum said.
