Revealed: World-famous rock band to headline Mildura concert

Kings of Leon, one of the world’s top rock bands, will be performing in Mildura this October as a part of their Australian tour.
The band of brothers and one cousin from Tennessee will tour Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, alongside a newly announced regional stop at Mildura Sporting Precinct on Saturday, October 29.
Tourism, Sport and Major Events Minister Martin Pakula announced the visit in Mildura on Thursday.
The event is expected to attract up to 15,000 fans and inject millions of dollars into the local economy, supported by the $20 million Regional Events Fund.
“We invest in bringing the biggest music shows to all parts of Victoria because we know they deliver a big boost to local businesses and support jobs,” Mr Pakula said.
“Victoria is Australia’s home of live music and we’re giving music lovers the experiences they crave while supporting the live music industry.”
The four-time Grammy Award winners have headlined the world’s biggest festivals, including Coachella and Lollapalooza, and broke their own attendance record at London’s massive Hyde Park during their last tour.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday May 3.
