Police believe the female pedestrian was hit by the car at the intersection of Dandelion Drive and Silkwood Way about 9am January 18.

The 69-year-old Rowville woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries but police announced on Monday, January 22, she had died in hospital.

The driver, a 79-year-old man from Rowville, stopped at the scene.

Police continue to investigate the exact circumstances surrounding the collision.
