An electrical fault from a TV caused a fire that damaged the second storey of a Wantirna South home last Wednesday night.
Firefighters were called to the house fire on Wakley Crescent at 7.30pm on September 6 and found the second storey of the two-storey brick house was well alight.
A CFA spokesperson said the fire was brought under control at 8.09pm and declared safe at 8.30pm.
Ambulance Victoria was called to the scene to attend to a neighbour with respiratory concerns.
The CFA had six vehicles on scene supported by Fire Rescue Victoria crews.
