Two men have been arrested over separate alleged incidents in Croydon, with one of the men accused of possessing a sawn-off shot gun and the other accused of making threats to kill.

Two men have been arrested on consecutive days in Croydon with both accused of unrelated and alleged family violence offences.
According to posts on the Eyewatch – Maroondah Police Service Area Facebook page, the first arrest was made by Yarra Ranges detectives and the Croydon family violence unit at a Croydon address on Friday, July 25.
A 38-year-old Croydon man allegedly possessed a sawn-off shot gun and was charged with firearms offences, armed robbery and breaching an intervention order.
Yarra Ranges crime investigation unit Senior Constable Andrew Howard said the arrest was planned and the charges related to three prior offences.
The man was remanded and appeared at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court the next day.
Sen-Constable Howard said the man was further remanded to face the court again at a later date.
In the second incident, a 23-year-old man was arrested by Croydon family violence unit members at a Croydon address on Saturday, July 26.
The man was charged with threats to kill, threats to damage property, criminal damage and assault of police.
He was taken into custody at Knox police station and remanded to face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later that day.
