If you think you’re a whiz at solving the Rubik’s cube — two Ringwood North brothers are ready to take you on.
Wesley, 14, and Austin, 10, spend 30 minutes or more practising their skills solving the popular puzzle each day.
They also took part in the 3x3 division of the World Cubing Association’s world championships in Melbourne last month.
Wesley first took an interest in the cube three years ago when he was bored on a sick day at home.
He then taught his brother and set up a club at his school to teach his mates.

“I just wanted to keep beating my best times over and over and see how fast I could get,” he said.
Wesley has bragging rights over his brother for the fastest time solving the cube — his personal best is 11.8 seconds.
But as you’ll see in our video — both of them were able to finish it in under 15 seconds.
“It’s challenging and I really like challenging tasks, and there’s all sorts of different methods,” Austin said.
According to the Guinness World Records website, the fastest time to solve a Rubik’s cube is 3.47 seconds, a record held by Yusheng Du of China.
