Animated adventures Toy Story and The Secret Life of Pets are returning to the cinemas just in time for school holidays. Tom Schouten recaps Toy Story 4 and The Secret Life of Pets 2.

Toy Story 4
From the Disney Pixar Studio comes Toy Story 4
Continuing from Toy Story 3, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang have been given new appreciation after Andy Davis gives his toys to Bonnie Anderson.
They are introduced to Forky, a spork that has been made into a toy, and they soon embark on a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends.
Along the way they detour and unexpectedly meet up with Woody’s long-lost friend, Bo Peep.
Woody and Bo Peep soon realise that they’re worlds apart when it comes to what they want from life as a toy.
The film stars Tom Hanks as Sheriff Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, Annie Potts as Bo Peep and introduces Tony Hale as Forky.
We also have Don Rickles in a posthumous performance as Mr Potato Head.

The Secret Life of Pets 2
Following on from the highly successful Secret Life of Pets, where we discovered what goes on in the life of our pets when we head off to school or work each day, comes The Secret Life of Pets 2.
Max the terrier must cope with some major life changes when his owner gets married and has a baby.
When the family takes a trip to the countryside, nervous Max has numerous run-ins with canine-intolerant cows, hostile foxes and a scary turkey.
Luckily for Max he soon catches a break when he meets Rooster, a gruff farm dog who tries to cure the loveable pooch of his neuroses.
Featuring the voices of Patton Ozwalt as Max, Kevin Hart as Snowball and Harrison Ford as Rooster.
Both films starts this week, just in time for some upcoming school holiday fun.
