An infamous drug dealer who sent Melbourne women gaga after his “hot mugshot” went viral will walk from prison a single man.

Pretty boy crook Jess Mabilia, 31 or 32, pleaded guilty at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Friday to trafficking meth and GHB.

Mabilia was pinched sleeping inside a stolen $35,000 Audi Q5 at Richmond on March 1 this year.

Police approached the Audi and found Mabilia asleep in the car before stirring the prolific criminal.

Cops searched the car and found a large gym bag in the boot which contained meth, counterfeit cash and vials of GHB.

Mabilia, who also pleaded guilty to possess counterfeit currency, was charged and bailed.

Police again encountered Mabilia a little over two weeks later when investigators discovered the John Mayer lookalike in a stolen car at The Basin on March 17.

Mabilia, who pleaded guilty to drug and weapon possession, was caught with an imitation firearm, 1,4 butanediol, meth, a haul of dexamphetamine, two knives and scales.

Mabilia, who also pleaded guilty to possessing property reasonably suspected of being stolen, was also nabbed with a silver necklace and a small box which contained nine opals.

The court heard Mabilia was living in a car at the time of his arrest.

The defence submitted a friend gave Mabilia the car to live in but the pretty boy crook didn’t know it was stolen.

Mabilia, who has multiple criminal priors, grew up in Frankston but plans to live and work with his dad as a painter in Wonthaggi when he is released from prison.

Mabilia also wants to leave his criminal life behind him.

The court heard Mabilia, a father of two, broke up with a previous partner and slipped into heavy drug use which accounted for his most recent offending.

Mabilia, who has previously worked selling 4-wheel drive vehicles, made headlines after Victoria Police released his mugshot in December 2021.

Police appealed for public assistance to locate Mabilia but instead social media pages were flooded with comments from women who could not believe how attractive he was.

Described as “185cm tall with a medium build, blue eyes and dark hair,” social media users were quick to comment on his striking good looks.

One woman jokingly said Mabilia could “hide out at her place” while others commented he looked like musician John Mayer and actor Robert Pattinson.

Another woman said she hoped to find Mabilia “on Tinder before police authorities find him”.

Mabilia, who appeared on remand via videolink, will be sentenced at a later date.
