Stolen property, drugs and shotgun shells were seized during a raid on a Launching Place property.
Lilydale police found stolen property, including high-end powertools valued at $45,000 when they searched the Mathers Rd house about 5.30am on Wednesday, November 13.
Acting Senior Sergeant Brendon de Schwartz said police found illegally held ammunition including shot gun shells and rifle cartridges, as well as $1800 in cash.
Sen-Sgt Mathers said heroin, ecstasy, methamphetamines and cannabis were also found during the raid.
He said a 26-year-old Launching Place man has been charged with 13 offences including handling stolen goods, possessing the proceeds of crime, numerous drug possession charges, cultivation of a narcotic plant and the incorrect storage of ammunition.
UPPER FERNTREE GULLY
Police are investigating a traffic incident at the Royal Hotel in Upper Ferntree Gully. A man was see driving a black Holden Commodore sedan outside the pub about 10.30pm on November 11. A good Samaritan has handed in cash to the Lilydale police station in the hopes it would make its way back to its owner.
Police — who did not say how much was handed in — are trying to track down the owner after they were given the money on August 5.
