Levantine Hill Estate’s new $20m luxury hotel set to open in 2025

A luxury hotel — complete with circular baths, private balconies and helipads — is set to open on the estate of a popular Yarra Valley winery next year.

A $20m luxury hotel will open on the grounds of a popular Yarra Valley winery next year complete with helipads to chopper in tourists.

The Levantine Hill Hotel at the Levantine Hill Estate will have 33 suites over two levels, with each suite having its own living area, study and private balcony overlooking the vineyards.

Eight of the suites will have large circular baths, and the Optume Suite will also have a dressing room, fireplace, cellar and bar.

The hotel will sit a short walk downhill to the winery’s existing cellar door, restaurant and events centre.

Also on the hotel grounds will be multiple onsite helipads, an indoor gym and a walking sculpture track that features more than 30 garden art pieces.

The space was designed by Australian architect firm Fender Kastalidis (FK).

“The raw, natural elements and finishes will weather naturally and patina elegantly with age in harmony with the environment,” said designer Karl Fender.

“This will bring simple elements together in a seamless and organic way.”

The family of developer and Benson Property Group founder Elias Jreissati, who owns the winery, are also working on plans for a second 47-room hotel on the site.

The Levantine Hill Hotel is scheduled to open in 2025.
