Filth Hughesdale dad Andrew Hutchison pleads guilty to hoarding 300,000 child porn files

A porn-addicted Hughesdale dad “rapidly increased” his child porn collection while working from home during lockdown.

Pornhub slammed for child sex abuse material: They "profited from my rape"

A grubby Hughesdale dad hoarded more than 300,000 child abuse material files after searching for vile “jail bait” content.

Andrew Hutchison, 52, was sentenced in the County Court on Thursday to a minimum three years’ jail after pleading guilty to accessing and possessing child abuse material.

Investigators arrested Hutchison at the Hughesdale home he shared with his wife and daughters on August 20 last year.

Police seized various devices including multiple portable hard drives and a computer tower which contained a combined 317,003 child abuse images and videos.

The court heard some of the child abuse files depicted penetrative sexual activity between children or with adults and sadism, bestiality, humiliation or child abuse.

Further analysis revealed Hutchison had been hoarding child abuse material accessed via multiple websites since 2013.

Hutchison described his conduct to police as a “porn addiction gone out of control”.

He said he commenced with clothed pictures of children before “progressing to nudes and then “sexual activity”.,

Hutchison said he searched terms including “jailbait” and “young video models” to obtain his vile material.

Hutchison claimed he had a “collector mentality” and obtaining the material became an “all-consuming thing”.

Hutchison also told police there was a “sexual thrill” accessing child abuse material.

“(It’s) a rabbit hole I’ve allowed myself to fall down, because it’s come about

incidentally,” Hutchison said.

“So, you know, the thrill is there again, ‘Oh, my god, I’ve got something I shouldn’t have’ … and that creates a … a little thrill, yeah, knowing full well it’s … and entirely one hundred per cent illegal, that there are people involved — that people’s lives have been ruined as a result of being in those videos.

“Oh, god, this is a voyeuristic thing, you know, and it’s just completely wrong … and I’m not trying to justify it myself at all.”

Hutchison also told police his “type of material” had increased to the point that it was “actually disgusting”.

Hutchison also claimed his “preferred age” was “girls in their early teens”.

The defence submitted Hutchison, a former Secure Corp payroll manager, quit his most recent job at Pacific Touring not long before his arrest.

The court was told Hutchison experienced workplace bullying before being ordered to work from home during Melbourne’s Covid-19 lockdown.

The defence submitted it was in this “isolated environment” that Hutchison’s access to child abuse material “rapidly increased”.

Judge Felicity Hampel jailed Hutchison for a maximum five years.
