Crispy Catch Fish & Chips in Ferntree Gully voted one of Melbourne’s best

PEOPLE from across the outer suburbs are flocking to a Ferntree Gully fish and chip shop named one of the best in Melbourne.

Crispy Catch Fish & Chips at Mountain Gate Shopping Centre was named in the top 10 fish and chip stores in Melbourne in The Age Good Food Guide 2016.

Anthony Siljanovski, who runs the store with his dad John, said since their recent publicity, people from across the outer east had been dropping in to check them out.

Mr Siljanovski said as well as traditional fish and chips, they also served lamb and chicken dishes, with meat straight off the spit, and a variety of salads.

He said they cooked their food in rice bran oil, the healthiest oil on the market, and made sure all their food was fresh.

“We put 110 per cent into the business, we are very passionate,” Mr Siljanovski said.

“We don’t like things half-done, it’s either properly or not at all.

“The oil, the freshness, the quality of the products is so important, as well as our customer service.”

The Crispy Catch Fish & Chips store is at shop 9/854 Burwood Highway, Ferntree Gully.
