Cornelius Crescent Healesville: Man seriously injured in truck accident

A man has suffered life-threatening injuries and is being flown to hospital after a truck accident in Healesville.

A man is fighting for his life after a crash between a truck and a motorcyclist in Melbourne’s outer east.

Emergency services rushed to the scene following the accident about 10am on Cornelius Crescent in Healesville, near Beverley Drive.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said it was believed a truck struck a male motorcyclist, who has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said a man in his 30s was being treated for an upper body injury and being flown to The Alfred hospital.

The truck driver was uninjured and investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
