The rare chance to buy an Aldi store in the Yarra Valley has caught the eye of investors, with the sale attracting national attention.
JLL Retail Investments have been offering Aldi Seville for sale, describing it as a “rare opportunity to acquire one of the only Aldi’s in Victoria with a net lease structure and fixed annual rent reviews, guaranteeing annual income growth”.
The 1762sq m Warburton Highway store was fully refurbished in 2016, and is supported by two complementary specialty tenants, including Australia Post.
Expressions of interest for the store closed in July, and selling agent Stuart Taylor confirmed the property was now under contract.
“The asset received significant national attention from investors attracted by the location and strong covenant the Aldi provides,” Mr Taylor said.
