A Queensland teenager is recovering from serious leg injuries and two others have been hospitalised following three shocking incidents on Victoria’s border in the space of an hour.

Police are investigating two separate hit-runs in Echuca and Wodonga, and an unrelated stabbing in Echuca, which all occurred about 1am on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to reports a car had hit an 18-year-old pedestrian, from Mackay in Queensland, on Dalgleish St.

“A car struck a man in a Dalgleish St carpark before fleeing about 12.45am,” a police spokeswoman said.

The teen was taken to Albury Wodonga Health hospital with serious leg injuries, but in a stable condition.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said he was treated for abrasions.

In Echuca, emergency services responded to a collision between a car and motorbike on the Northern Highway at the intersection of Ogilvie Ave.

Investigators believe the driver of the car failed to stop at the scene.

The motorbike rider, a 28-year-old Echuca man, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Moments earlier, police responded to reports of a stabbing on the highway, believed to be near a service station and a roundabout.

A 44-year-old Echuca man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the three incidents are ongoing, and any witnesses or anyone with information can phone Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
