A young Melbourne woman who allegedly stormed a home in Melbourne’s north with violent intent has been nabbed by police.

Carly Pirronelli, 25, fronted Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday charged with home invasion.

Ms Pirronelli allegedly entered a Kingsbury home as a trespasser in company with one or more persons while another person was inside the house on February 21 this year.

It’s also alleged Pirronelli entered the Lowell Ave home with “intent to assault a person”.

Ms Pirronelli, of Greensborough, was arrested and charged on February 21 this year.

Darebin Crime Investigation Unit members arrested Ms Pirronelli not long after the alleged home invasion.

The prosecution submitted no other co-accused had been charged “at this stage”.

The court heard confirmation “some suspects” were yet to be arrested.

Ms Pirronelli, who was also charged with cannabis possession, had her bail extended to front court at a later date.
