A woman is stuffed after she allegedly threw a rotisserie chicken at another customer in an Epping supermarket.

The 39-year-old South Morang woman is facing charges over the fight at the Deveny Rd shop which broke out about 5pm on Christmas Eve last year.

Victoria Police investigators were told two women “verbally and physically” attacked a man before they chickened out.

“Nobody was seriously injured in the incident, and the two women left the scene before the matter was reported to police,” a spokeswoman said.

Whittlesea Police Eyewatch made the following post on their Facebook page: “No one was injured but the chook was cooked”.

The woman charged with counts of throw missile and wilful damage, was remanded in custody over an outstanding warrant for another matter.

She will face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court in March.

Police are still investigating the incident.
