A woman was allegedly overpowered, tied and blindfolded before being forced into the boot of a car in Whittlesea.
Victoria Police allege three people forced open the front door of a Whittlesea property about 10.30pm on July 29 before the incident took place.
The victim managed to untie herself and escape from the vehicle.
A Lilydale man, 18, Warburton man, 24, and Doreen woman, 36, have been charged with aggravated home invasion and kidnapping.
The two men have been remanded in custody while the woman has been bailed.
The trio will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on December 8.
