Last year, Fairfield Primary School students Pippa Kluge, Raya Barrington, Jack Ison, Michael Kloss, Sam Rippon, Toby Hopkins, Charlie Schwantzer, Hudson Price and teacher Michele Fraser had discussed shaving and cutting their hair to support people with blood cancers.

In his election speech for a Grade 6 leadership role, Jack Ison said: “If I get elected as a school community leader then I will shave off my hair for cancer research”.

“I am here today with some of my friends to shave off and cut our hair for the World’s Greatest Shave and to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation,” he said.
