Founder Lina Qasem said they have classes for boys and girls but there was a focus on females.

“Most of the jobs in the future will be based on technology and science,” Ms Qasem said.
“We encourage them (girls) to be more engaged with STEM to secure them a job in the future.”
Ms Qasem studied computer information systems at the University of Jordan and noticed the gender gap when attending robotics competitions.
Her mission became to encourage girls to enter the STEM field and also educate parents on its importance.
Robofun teaches coding, robotics and computer design in a variety of classes depending on the interests of the students.
“It teaches logical thinking and creative thinking as well. It’s important for both genders,” Ms Qasem said.
